We do not recommend any of our Tuscan Path pavers or stepping stones are used in settings outside of the intended use of landscaping paving and paths.

What sealant product do I use on natural pavers?

For Bluestone and Light Grey Granite pavers we recommend we recommend Crommelin DiamondCoat Stone Shield Low Sheen for the best finish and durability. If Bluestone or Light Grey Granite pavers are being used in a pool area, recommend Crommelin DiamondCoat Slate & Stone Sealer Natural.

Do stone pavers need sealing, and do porcelain pavers need it too?

Natural stone pavers and stepping stone pavers generally require sealing to protect colour and surface. Porcelain pavers are manufactured to be weather and chemical resistant and typically don’t need sealing, which reduces maintenance.

Are stepping stone pavers suitable for lawns and garden beds?

Yes - stepping stone pavers are ideal for informal paths across turf, gravel and mulched areas. Lay them on a compact base, set consistent spacing for a comfortable stride, and seal natural stone to help resist stains and weathering.
